Product management is the one job that is all about the users. A product manager has to understand and be able to understand how their users interact with their products and how they want certain features implemented in them. The product managers role needs to have a lot of control over who will use the product, what will happen when users don't use it as promised, etc.The Product Manager needs to know who is actually using their products, who are sticking with it, and when there's a drop in usage, so that the company can make informed decisions for the future business success.The Product Manager needs to know where user interest lies in the market; there might be a huge spike in usage but it might also not be anywhere near that.
